Valverde Mobility Tour

The Valverde Mobility Tour aims to honor the history and stories of the Valverde neighborhood while also serving as a collaborative basis for the betterment of community health and wealth from an infrastructural perspective. This drafted tour, modeled as a physical extension of virtual story mapping completed by the Valverde Movement Project, currently highlights eight specific locations in the Valverde neighborhood. These centrally located points were selected based on their historical and contemporary applications to community investments in health and wealth. By recognizing initiatives of resilience, activism, and fellowship in the past and present of Valverde, we intend to actively call neighbors into the making of Valverde's future. With this in mind, however, we would like to stress that this draft is simply a starting point for a greater initiative.
